I am 47 years old and have been living with spasticity for eight years. I am a wife and a Mom who now stays at home. I was working in the Pharmacy field when I was told to quit. I spend time with my family, I still get around fairly well, thanks to the Medtronic baclofen pump. I am able to do almost everything with few limitations. I enjoy painting ceramics and I also have a very small business doing tune-ups on computers. Having spasticity was certainly a blow to my life and my family, but after you get over the initial shock and go through all the “why me’s?,” you can live a productive life, just on a different level.
