When I was 28 years old I suffered a stroke resulting from an inoperable brain bleed on June 25, 1997. My recovery has been slow and spasticity problems severe. My quality of life has greatly improved since having a Medtronic pump implanted. It is still a real challenge just doing little everyday activities that I once took for granted. I am extremely happy to report that 2 months ago I returned to my previous position as a registered nurse. I have always loved nursing and being back to work is a dream come true.
