Our daughter Jacquelyn, now 7 years old, weighed 1.57 lbs at birth. She had a grade 1 bleeding hemorrhage on the left side of her brain and a grade 4 bleeding hemorrhage on the right side of her brain.
She is the most courageous person we know. Having spasticity, she receives her botox to help loosen her muscle tension. She has taken dance with Kinetic Kids, piano lessons, t-ball and is currently in Karate. She may sometimes fall but tells people it is because her left side is weak. She is extremely smart and brave and there is no obstacle for her. She is a true angel. |
