Re: Jack, my five-year-old son who has cerebral palsy
Jack displays his courage to live with spasticity every day. The list of activities he bravely tries to accomplish consists of things most people take for granted: walking to school, pedaling his bike, sitting in a chair, or eating a meal. Some might, therefore, be unimpressed by what Jack is able to do. They would likely focus on what Jack cannot get his body do. We, however, see Jack's courage and all that he can do. Nothing makes him prouder than to smile and announce, "I did it myself!"
